Class Descriptions, Age Levels & Entrance Requirements.
Ballet Tiny Tots	Ages 3	It all starts here! When your child is potty trained we want to introduce your child to the world of dance.
Pre-Ballet & Tap	Ages 4-5	This is the next progressive step for your child after Tiny Tots. Tap gives children rhythm
Ballet Beginner	Ages 6-10	The first level of Open Ballet classes.
Ballet Open Level 1	Ages 6-10	If your child has some ballet experience and does not want to take the more structured RAD Ballet program this is the class for your child.
Ballet Open Level 2	Ages 10-13	If your child has some ballet experience and does not want to take the more structured RAD Ballet program this is the class for your child.
Ballet Open Level 3	Ages 13+	If your child has 2-3 years of ballet experience and does not want to take the more structured RAD Ballet program this is the class for your child.
Ballet Open Level 4	Ages 14+	If your child has a few years of ballet experience and does not want to take the more structured RAD Ballet program this is the class for your child.
Ballet Competition	Ages 12+	This class takes ballet to the competitive level & requires Ballet Level 3 by audition only. Please email Ms. Vera or Ms. Sheree for an audition time. Auditions will be the 1st day of class.
Ballet Technique	Ages 7+	Full year class to meet the ballet requirement but has no concert performance requirement.
Ballet Adult/Teen	Ages 14+	This class is open to anyone with any level of ballet experience or no ballet experience.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Pre-Primary	Ages 5-7	The beginning of the RAD syllabus ballet starts here. Your child will experience the base structure for all future ballet classes. Fun and age appropriate
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Primary	Ages 6+	The next step in the RAD syllabus is Primary but some children do start at this level based on age & ability.
RAD Grade 1 & Above Important Registration Information	NA	All students who register for RAD Grades 1 and above must take 2 classes per week. When registering for these Graded classes please check both boxes to make your registration valid.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 1	Ages 7+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week & require prior RAD Ballet experience. Exceptions to this requirement would be at the discretion of the RAD Teacher based on an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 2	Ages 8+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken & passed RAD Grade 1. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 3	Ages 9+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken & passed RAD Grade 2. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 4	Ages 10+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken & passed RAD Grade 3. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 5	Ages 11+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken & passed RAD Grade 4. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 6	Ages 12+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken & passed RAD Grade 5. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Grade 7	Ages 13+	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken & passed RAD Grade 6. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Vocational Level	Ages 11	At this level students are required to take 2 Grade appropriate RAD Ballet classes per week. At this level you must have taken and passed RAD Grade 5. Exceptions to this requirement are at the discretion of the RAD teacher in conjunction with an audition.

Jazz Beginner	Ages 5-8	No Jazz or dance experience & you are within the age range to the left? We want you in our Academy to see what Jazz is all about.
Jazz Level 1	Ages 7-10	Do you have some dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well, then this is the Jazz class for you.
Jazz Level 2	Ages 10-12	Do you have Jazz Level 1 dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well, then this is the Jazz class for you. Not sure of your jazz experience, no problem the teacher will evaluate you in the first class.
Jazz Level 3	Ages 12+	Do you have Jazz Level 2 dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well, then this is the Jazz class for you. Not sure of your jazz experience, no problem the teacher will evaluate you in the first class.
Junior Lyrical Jazz	Ages 11+	This is a combination of ballet & jazz showing performance in dance. This class does not count for the ballet requirement.
Jazz Level 4 & Competition	Ages 12+	Do you have Jazz Level 3 dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class as well then this is the Jazz class for you. The teacher will audition all potential students in the first class.
Tap Beginner	Ages 5-8	No Tap or dance experience & you are within the age range to the left? We want you in our Academy to see what Tap is all about.
Tap Level 1	Ages7-10	Do you have some dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Tap class for you.
Tap Level 2	Ages 10-12	Do you have Tap Level 1 dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Tap class for you. Not sure of your Tap experience, no problem the teacher will evaluate you in the first class.
Tap Level 3	Ages 12+	Do you have Tap Level 2 dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Tap class for you. Not sure of your Tap experience, no problem the teacher will evaluate you in the first class.
Tap Level 4	Ages 14+	Do you have Tap Level 3 dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Tap class for you. Not sure of your Tap experience, no problem the teacher will evaluate you in the first class.
Competition Tap	Ages 11+	You must be registered in Tap Level 3 & are taking a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Tap class for you. The teacher will audition all potential students in the first class.
Pilates Adult	Ages 15+	You want to learn Pilates. Just looking for a good workout. Little to lots of dance experience? Come on & sign up now. This class will keep everyone in shape.
Hip Hop Beginner	Ages 5-8	No Hip-Hop or dance experience & you are within the age range to the left? We want you in our Academy to see what Jazz is all about.
Hip Hop Level 1	Ages 8-11	Do you have some dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Hip-Hop class for you.
Hip Hop Level 2	Ages 11-13 and older beginners	Do you have some dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Hip-Hop class for you.
Hip Hop Level 3	Ages 13+	Do you have some Hip-Hop dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Hip-Hop class for you. The teacher will evaluate all students in the first class.
Hip Hop Level 4	Ages 15+	Do you have substantial Hip-Hop dance experience & are willing to take a ballet class once a week as well then this is the Hip-Hop class for you. The teacher will evaluate all students in the first class.
Competition Hip-Hop	Ages 12+	This is for the experienced Hip-Hopper only. Auditions will be the first day of class.
Hip-Hop Only	Any age	This class does not participate in competitions or recitals. There is also no ballet requirement.
Worship Youth	Ages 7-12	Do you have a heart of worship & if so do you want to put that expression into dance? A Ballet is required? Come & experience the power of worship in dance!
Worship Teen	Ages 12+	Do you have a heart of worship & if so do you want to put that expression into dance? A Ballet is required? Come & experience the power of worship in dance!
Lyrical Competition	Ages 14+	A heart of Dance & a desire to share.
Teen Social Dance	12+	Teens learn how to socialize in dance setting. Respect your partner, trust your partner. Learn how to lead and follow in ballroom and latin dancing. These are 8 week sessions 3 times per year.
Social Dance Level 1	Ages 14 - adult	Have you always wanted to learn about the waltz, foxtrot, rumba, jive etc? Do you think your husband has two left feet? Do you want to dance for your wedding in style? Come and learn from Gerry & Vera in a very relaxed & fun atmosphere.
Social Dance Level 2	Ages 14 - adult	Must have Ballroom Level 1 experience or prior permission from Gerry or Vera. In this class we get down to the details of many Ballroom & Latin dances. We concentrate on position & hold as well as a strong leads from the man & no lead from the woman.
